Born and raised in Hertfordshire, Ellie is a professional athlete sponsored by New Balance and one of Britain’s leading 800m/1500m athletes. At the start of 2023 she won her first senior British title over 1500m at the UK Indoor Athletics Championships, breaking Zola Budd’s 37-year-old championship record. In 2022 she competed at the World Athletics Championships and is now aiming for a place on the British team at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Known for her smiles and bubbly personality, Ellie has a large following on social media where she shares “the raw, unfiltered reality of her athletics journey—the joys , the struggles, and everything in between.” She spends a good part of the year away on training camps and competing at track races around the world.
