Born and raised in Hertfordshire, Ellie is a New Balance-sponsored athlete sponsored by New Balance who has been one of Britain’s leading 800m/1500m athletes over the past decade.
Ellie broke onto the international scene with a silver medal over 800m at the 2017 European Junior Championships in Italy. Two years later she won another silver at the European U23 Championships.
At the start of 2023 she won her first senior British title over 1500m at the UK Indoor Athletics Championships, breaking Zola Budd’s 37-year-old championship record.
Known for her smiles and bubbly personality, Ellie has a large following on social media where she shares “the raw, unfiltered reality of her athletics journey—the joys, the struggles, and everything in between.”
Also qualified as a massage therapist, Ellie is closely connected with runners and running at the grass-roots.
