Rose is a professional athlete sponsored by Puma who made a rapid rise in international marathon running after getting serious about her running during lockdown. Having trained as a lawyer, she started training for a Half Ironman at the start of the pandemic; within a year she had recorded a time of just under 2 hours and 31 minutes for the marathon!
Fifteen months later after lowering her PB to 2:27:17 in Seville she made her major championship debut at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon. A year later, in October 2023 Rose ran a new personal best time of 2:23:21 to finish ninth at the Chicago Marathon, a time which won her selection to the British marathon team for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
In 2025 Rose placed 9th in the 2025 TCS London Marathon in a time of 2:25:01 and twelve months later achieved another top-ten finish in London in a time of 2:26:14. This gained her selection for the British team for the European Championship Marathon in Birmingham where she finished 14th and was part of Britain’s gold-medal winning team.
