Now known as one of the world’s top triathletes after winning the world title in 2023 and a bronze medal in the 2024 Paris Olympic Women’s Triathlon, Beth started out as a competitive swimmer and then became one of Britain’s top distance runners. With a 10,000m track PB of 32:03:45, Beth competed over 10,000m at the 2016 Rio Olympics and at the 2017 World Athletics Championships in London.
Her triathlon career started in earnest after her move to Leeds. She first came to prominence at the Super League World Triathlon Series in 2021 where she finished 4th. Two years later she won her first world title, having won the Olympic Games Test Event in Paris one month earlier.
